Vertical Concrete Repairs
When it comes to repairing deteriorated concrete, IW&G has extensive experience in concrete repairs on vertical surfaces. These types of repairs occur on shear collars, structural beams and girders, concrete walls, etc. In the case of spalls, old concrete is removed exposing the rebar within which is cleaned of rust before patching materials are applied. In the case of cracks, epoxy or urethane can be injected to weld and seal the concrete which restores the structural integrity and eliminates the possibility of moisture infiltration.
When it comes to concrete repairs and patching it is of utmost importance to work with an installer that has a thorough understanding of the wide array of materials and knows how/when and in which circumstance they should be applied.
